Village tour of Zernez

Naturally, the main attraction of Zernez is the unique, 172 sq. km large Swiss National Park, the largest conservation area in the country. The multimedia exhibition captivates even the youngest visitors. However, the picturesque Engadin municipality is not just the gateway to the National Park; it also has an unspoilt villagescape with typical Engadin houses, lies on the historically significant traffic hub on the Ofen Pass, and is the ideal departure point from which to explore the three-nation triangle, Switzerland–Italy–Austria. Come and discover the most beautiful things about Zernez on a village tour. The tour includes a visit to the National Park Centre, the churches and the castle (which is only possible as part of a tour!), guides you on a stroll through the old part of the village known as Runatsch, and takes a closer look at the area that was rebuilt in an urban style after being burned down in the great fire of 1872. It finishes with a slide show in the village hall.
