Hunting

The traditional conclusion of this very special period in the year is the Feast of St. Hubert, at which the patron saint of hunters is thanked for the successful season.

The feast takes place in mid-October in the Catholic Church of St. Karl in St. Moritz-Bad. Non-hunters probably look forward more to the gastronomic game season, when they can enjoy such dishes as saddle of venison and venison stew at one of the numerous restaurants that traditionally have game specialities on the menu in autumn.
