La Punt – Madulain woodland nature trail

34 different species of plants, trees and bushes are waiting to be discovered along the La Punt – Madulain nature trail. Each is marked with a wooden post and a small green nameplate. The fauna of the Engadin also put in an appearance: along the path are 11 large wooden sculptures carved by artists from local tree trunks; nine of them depict local wild animals.

Altitude difference: approx. 100 m
Duration of round walk: approx. 90 minutes

Trail details: the nature trail passes over forest tracks, footpaths and across stretches of meadow, and is suitable for regular walkers as well as children. It is not, however, pushchair accessible. The walk can be made in either direction. Along the way, hikers can rest at a picnic stop with a fountain – in the company of Gian and Eulalia, two wooden carvings.
