Golf in the Engadin, Samedan

What a backdrop! Playing golf in Samedan is a record-breaking experience in various respects. Opened in 1893, the golf course is not only the oldest in Switzerland, but also one of the first to be built in continental Europe, and at 1,800 metres above sea level, it is also one of the highest-lying. And to top that, all around, the highest peaks in the eastern Alps form a guard of honour, while on the course itself, state-of-the-art training facilities, a driving range with covered tees, and a short-game area provide optimal training conditions.
