The Villa Flor is not a typical regional farmhouse, but a representative, stately home of a returned emigrant family in the style of Neoclassicism with Art Nouveau decor. The present building was built in 1904 by a family Cloetta, who made their fortune in Parma as "Randolinas Engiadinaisas" and returned prosperously. In 2009, the house was rebuilt into Villa Flor with seven guest rooms. Emphasis was placed on the preservation of the historical substance, but at the same time set strong accents with unconventional (interior) architecture and artful furnishings. The original Art Nouveau paintings have been restored with love and expert craftsmanship. They are now part of the unique atmosphere that plays unaffected between the here and now and the slightly faded charm of the past.
