Situated at the foot of the Bernina Massif, Pontresina is a paradise for mountaineers and hikers, and treats guests to a magnificent view of the highest peaks in the eastern Alps, such as the Piz Palü and the Piz Bernina.

This spectacular Alpine world is accessible thanks to 580 km of hiking paths. The most attractive areas around Pontresina are the ruggedly romantic Val Roseg, with the imposing Roseg glacier, and the Alp Languard, reachable by chairlift, where with a bit of luck visitors can observe large numbers of ibexes. The range on offer is rounded off by 400 km of biking trails, climbing parks, a rope park, two thrilling via ferratas, as well as a modern congress & cultural centre and a new swimming pool & spa complex.
