By Rail
The trip with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur to Tiefencastel to the Engadin, with its helical tunnels and breathtakingly high viaducts, is one of the most scenic and technically interesting in Europe. Another option is to travel from Landquart via Klosters and the Vereina Tunnel. This way you can reach the St. Moritz region from Zurich Main Railway Station in just 3 hours and 21 minutes.
Unbeatable views from a seat on an observation car of the Albula Line
From December 20th 2008 to April 13th 2009, travellers on the Rhaetian
Railway (RhB) can enjoy a special attraction on the section between
Chur and St. Moritz, as all Albula-line trains will also include an
additional Bernina Express observation car. Seats in these carriages
can be reserved (and are subject to the corresponding supplement).
Passengers can thus be sure of getting a seat.

In early July 2008, UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee added the Albula/Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway to its list of World Heritage sites. The Rhaetian Railway is only the third railway in the world judged by UNESCO to be of “outstanding universal value”. www.mybernina.ch
