St. Moritz wins the My Planet Travel Award

St. Moritz is named best ski resort by the Russian public

And the winner is: St. Moritz. On 22 September, the My Planet Travel Award was presented in Moscow, with St. Moritz being named «Best Ski Resort».

St. Moritz was already nominated for this prestigious award back in January. With a brief text and various promotional videos, the Engadin St. Moritz Tourism Organisation subsequently won the hearts of the Russian voters. And with success – in the «Best Ski Resort» category, St. Moritz ended up ranking in first place, ahead of Roc De Caldes (Andorra), Cheval Blanc Courchevel (France), Squaw Valley Lodge (USA), Lech (Austria), Alpine Palace New Balance Luxus Resort (Austria), Courchevel (France), Zermatt (Switzerland) and Megeve (France). With the My Planet Travel Award, the Russian public and travel industry professionals vote on which of the nominees should receive the prize. The award ceremony, at which prizes were presented in 15 categories, was held on 22 September in Moscow.
