8th Engadine Cycle Marathon

The biggest marathon in the canton of Grisons, has become a classic and draws 1,500 sportsmen and women from all over Europe. The 8th Engadine Cycle Marathon again promises the real feeling of a cycle marathon.

Description:	No less than five passes over 2,300 m, with such memorable names as Ofenpass, Forcola di Livigno, Berninapass, Albulapass and Flüelapass, will be overcome by competitors. And the best thing is that the course goes around Switzerland's only national park. At La Punt cyclists doing the 211km tour join the participants from the 97km tour to Zernez. After 97km and 1,325m of climbing riders can decide in Zernez if they will turn right to the finishing line or continue another 114km, with 2,502m of climbing. After a stop at the refreshment station at the end of the village of Zernez, the course continues towards Susch over the Flüelapass, through Davos and Schmitten, over the Albulapass, and through La Punt to the finish in Zernez.
