Mountain Bikes Welcome
When evening sun transforms the mountain peaks into pillars of fire it is high time to hop on your bike for a spin on the Corviglia Sunset Flow. This summer, from 1 July to 19 August 2016, the flow trails on Corviglia will be open every Friday evening exclusively for those who still haven’t had enough riding or who want to start the weekend off with a bike run. The bikes will be transported on the St. Moritz Dorf - Chantarella - Corviglia funicular directly to the Corviglia flow trail area on Corviglia. The legendary Piz Nair Sunrise, where the sunrise can be enjoyed over a hearty breakfast on the summit of the Piz Nair, provides a contrast to the Sunset Flow. The sunrise belongs to everyone no matter who they are, and this includes mountain bikers, hikers, romantics, sports enthusiasts, holidaymakers and locals. The Piz Nair Sunrise will be held on three Sundays, 31 July, 28 August and 25 September 2016, starting at 4.30am.;

Another new attraction available this year is the Engadin Bike Giro. From 1 to 3 July 2016, Silvaplana and St. Moritz together with the renowned Sauser Sport & Event Management agency will be holding the first Engadin Bike Giro. Participants have to successfully cover three different stages with the starting and finishing points both in Silvaplana. The Engadin Bike Giro is aimed at recreational cyclists as well as at biking pros who have already made a name for themselves in the mountain biking scene. The organisers of this event would also like it to be included in the International Cycling Union (UCI) calendar with day and overall rankings.
