ADAC awards for the Upper Engadin

Two ADAC awards

The Upper Engadin won two awards from a leading European travel publisher.

St. Moritz, 30.12.2008 - ADAC, the German motorists’ association, the largest in Europe – also publishes many of Europe’s most widely read and best-respected travel guides. An expert jury appointed by the ADAC SkiGuide and the ADAC travel magazine Top Ski Areas awarded the Upper Engadin first place in the “variety” and “Nordic/cross-country” categories. The Upper Engadin won first place in the category “Top ski area for variety, 2010” because its four ski areas offer slopes with every orientation, so that snow sports lovers can enjoy sunshine and powder snow throughout the day. In the category “Top ski area – Nordic/cross-country, 2010” it won plaudits for its superb Nordic/cross-country skiing: 180km of classic and 150km of skating trails.
