The Bitabergh mountain lake is surrounded by a forest above Maloja, 1854 metres above sea level, and can be reached on foot via Maloja or Cavloc.
Barbecue areas invite you to stop for a break and the smuggler's trail offers a special adventure from Maloja to the lake where the treasure is hidden.

In winter leads a signed path through dense snow-covered woods to Lake Bitabergh.
