Julier Pass route

Take an exciting PostBus ride through several cultural and linguistic regions. The route leads over artistically tiled roads from Graubünden’s capital city of Chur, past sparkling lakes, majestic castles and open forests, to St. Moritz.

The Julier Pass route takes you from Chur, through deep Alpine valleys, over the Julier Pass and on to St. Moritz. Discover the unique appeal of Switzerland’s oldest town, Chur, before moving on via Churwalden to Valbella/Lenzerheide. Extending between Lenzerheide and Bivio is the regional nature park, Parc Ela.

From Bivio, the trip continues up over the Julier Pass, which gives way to a magnificent view of the lake-strewn landscape of the Upper Engadin. After Silvaplana, you soon find yourself in St. Moritz, with its famous “champagne” climate.
