Ice Climbing

 open  partly open   closed

What is probably the highest ice climbing wall in the world to be formed by a frozen liquid flow of water can be found by the Corvatsch summit station. It is situated directly next to the Panorama restaurant and is easily reached by cable car. The around 50-metre high ice wall features a variety of pitches of different levels of difficulty. Both beginners (accompanied by a mountain guide) and proficient climbers will find suitably challenging routes.

Ice climbing courses and equipment are available at the Bergsteigerschule Pontresina. T +41 81 842 82 82, info@bergsteiger-pontresina.ch
